New AI centre in Mount Sinai announced

With AI offering the potential to radically transform patient care and treatment the Icahn School of Medicine, part of the Mount Sinai Healthcare System in New York, has announced the launch of a new centre for AI, the Hamilton and Amabel James Center for Artificial Intelligence and Human Health which will combine artificial intelligence with data science and genomics to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and promote well-being.

We have reported the launch of several new AI centres in the last few months (Stanford  and Munich), with this latest announcement the integration of AI into the healthcare system will undoubtedly continue to gain momentum.
